Born and educated in England, I loved history as a child and became fascinated with the Regency. It is an era all the glamor and glitz of high society and yet is modern enough to be familiar some two hundred years later. I now live and write full-time in Richmond Hill, Canada, a great name for a town for a Regency writer, don't you think?

After winning and finaling in several contests, my work attracted the attention of Scott Eagan from The Greyhaus Literary Agency who agreed to represent me. My most recent book, No Regrets, from Sourcebooks Inc, was an American Title finalist and is a Regency historical with a very different sort of heroine, she is plus size and wears glasses and she has caught the eye of a rake. Go to my website to read an excerpt. Real women deserve adventures and they deserve romance and Caro Torrington finds it all in this book.

Sourcebooks has purchased the next regency-set historical due out in October 2008. Watch this space for details as they develop. I must say this is a wonderful publisher and I love working with them.

February 2008 saw the Release of the Brides of the West Anthology from Highland Press. Three great stories for one very low price. With hope in their hearts, three women looking for a new life take fate in their hands and go west to be brides for men they have never met. Have they made a mistake? Or will they find gold in Texas?

My contribution is Satin and Snakeskin, the story of an English miss who finds herself in Texas as a mail order bride. I loved writing this story and hope you will enjoy it too. It is available at all the on-line bookstores or can be ordered through your local Borders or Waldens.
